VISION
SRDI envisions itself as the center of
knowledge-based sericulture industry and as a catalyst for the
manpower development and sustainance of the silk industry thereby
contributing to the socio-economic upliftment of the sericulture
communities through research, development and extension.
GOAL To make our country self-sufficient and a net exporter of silk allied products, contribute to the attainment of the government's program on countryside development, accelerate economic growth, promote ecological balance, generate economically viable technologies, thus creating labor opportunities to sustain an agro-based industry. |
